"Nintendo World Championships" is a Nintendo Entertainment System cartridge made for a contest. Nintendo Power magazine made another contest where one winner, and some other twenty-five lucky ones, got an special edition of the game with a golden cartridge: "Nintendo World Championships: Gold Edition."

This cartridge is extremely rare and it's a very sought-for collector's piece, since only twenty-six of them were produced, and only twelve are known in existence. It is considered as one of the "Holy Grails" of videogames. On June 2009 one of them were sold for 17,500.00 dollars. We're close to an "Indiana Jones and the Golden Cartridge" movie. :)
